I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and for the many signatures that were gained. 
However Warner Brothers Pictures has completely slaughtered the petition and no, it wasn't through our lack of trying.

It was officially posted recently that Harry Potter and The Half-blood Prince would not in fact come out this year at all but instead on the 17th of July, 2009.

Sadly, as I first thought - this isn't a hoax.

I'm sorry to all of you who were hoping for a November release date this year. We all did our best but the petition has now been forced into retirement.
